In this era of information overload, I have observed that people’s attention seems to become increasingly fragmented. The overwhelming presence of fragmented information often disrupts focus, making connections with the real world more fragile. Within this environment, I have been deeply reflecting on the evolving relationships between individuals, nature, and society.
In my work, I use the metaphor of games to represent interpersonal relationships. Different games symbolize various forms of relationships—some complex, others simple; some harmonious, others confrontational. Through five pairs of paintings, one depicts people fully immersed in a game, while the other portrays scenes where gameplay is interrupted by external distractions or internal shifts in focus. I aim to explore the dynamic balance and imbalance inherent in these interactions.
